These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by The Crawl Shield LLC ("The Crawl Shield," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing our website or requesting an inspection, estimate, or repair service, you agree to these Terms.

Our Services

The Crawl Shield provides crawl space encapsulation, water mitigation, vapor barrier installation, floor support and foundation repair, mold and fungal treatment, and related real estate services for residential properties in Murfreesboro, TN and the surrounding Middle Tennessee area. All work is performed by a licensed, insured, and bonded contractor (TN License #12786).

Inspections & Estimates

We offer free crawl space inspections to assess the condition of your home and identify potential issues. Any estimate or proposal we provide is based on the conditions observed at the time of inspection and is valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Because crawl spaces can reveal hidden conditions once work begins, the final scope and price may change if previously unseen damage or conditions are discovered. We will communicate any material changes and obtain your approval before proceeding with additional work.

Scheduling & Access

Scheduled dates and timelines are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, and site conditions. You agree to provide reasonable access to the crawl space and any relevant areas of the property so work can be performed safely and effectively.

Warranties

Repairs and installations performed by The Crawl Shield are backed by a written warranty, the specific terms and duration of which are provided on your warranty documentation. Warranties apply only to the work we perform and do not cover pre-existing conditions, damage caused by flooding, groundwater intrusion beyond the designed capacity of installed systems, improper maintenance, modifications by others, or acts of nature.

Payment

Payment terms, including deposits and final payment due dates, are outlined in your signed proposal or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the work. Overdue balances may be subject to late fees as permitted by Tennessee law.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Crawl Shield's total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific work that gave rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to damage to personal property, loss of use, or diminished property value, except where such limitation is prohibited by law.

Third-Party Links & Integrations

Our website may link to or embed third-party tools such as scheduling forms and analytics. We are not responsible for the content, practices, or policies of those third parties. Your use of any third-party service is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

SMS Text Messaging Terms

• Message frequency: Message frequency varies depending on your service needs. Typically, you may receive 1–4 messages per month around scheduled appointments and active service requests. If you request support, you may receive additional messages during that conversation.
